What Happened to YNW Melly Hoax

This happened after rapper Juice Wrld, 21, died Monday at the Chicago airport after a cardiac arrest.
But YNW Melly’s mother, Jamie Demons-King, posted a video on Instagram to overturn rumors about her son’s murder.
On December 9 and 10, publications appeared on several unreliable websites, including two that prompted users to “caress their friends,” and falsely claimed that the 20-year-old had been stabbed in jail. On December 9, the Channel 45 News website published a brief publication entitled “YNW Melly Stands to Death,” along with a photo of Demons and the following text:
“The authorities said that everything happened in a riot in the prison between gangs. So the victim was found dead with a knife in the stomach. YNW Melly stabbed!”
Channel 45 News invites users to “play a joke and fool their friends” by generating a fake news publication that looks vaguely authentic from a headline and text entered by the user, as shown below:
Another user has published a second fake article with Prank News Generator NSFNews. This post had the headline “YNW Melly stabbed in jail.”
Based on these demonstrably fabricated stories, rumors of Demons’ demise spread quickly on social media and other websites, including DeadDeath and Market News, which shared what they described as “unconfirmed” reports that the rapper had been killed.
