The 40-year-old Pascal was originally from West Roxbury, Boston.
She gradutaed from Brown University After graduation in 2001, the young star went to work as a reporting intern at The Providence Journal.
She has been the director of corporate social responsibility and community relations at Sanofi Genzyme, a biotechnology company based in nearby Cambridge. After writing for the college newspaper, the Brown Daily Herald for year, she went in to communications, where she worked her way up the ranks at Sanofi Genzyme.

The mother-of-two was found dead on Christmas Day with her two kids, identified as 4-year-old Allison and 16-month-old Andrew.
Pascal tied the knot to her husband, Adam, back in 2013, for welcoming their daughter two years after the birth of their son.

Pascal was named by Suffolk County District Attorney Rachel Rollins Thursday afternoon, with investigators still working to determine why she killed both her children before taking her own life. Rollins said there may have been a 911 call made shortly before the double murder-suicide, but declined to say who made it, or what was said.

Police believe she threw the kids off the nine-story structure before leaping off herself on Christmas Day, according to CBS Boston.
She was found on the roof the parking garage in the city, with the doors flung open.
The 40-year-old mother and her two children were found unconscious Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. on a sidewalk near the Renaissance Parking Garage. They were taken to an area hospital, where they could not survive longer.
Rollins said the investigation is still in the “very early stages”.
Police responded just before 1:30 p.m. to the Renaissance Park Garage in Roxbury, where they found the three family members unconscious on a sidewalk.
According to the investigations by authorities, the death of a mother-with-her-two-kids, who were found unconscious near a Boston parking garage on Christmas Day was described as a likely double-murder suicide by Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins at a news conference.
According to Rollins, it appears the two children fell first, then the mother.
