A man has been jailed after pleading guilty to the murder of an East Belfast grandmother.
The body of Alice Morrow, 53, was found in her apartment on Whincroft Way at the Braniel estate in March 2019.

Alice Morrow was 44-years-old.
William Hutchinson, 44, of Kilbroney House in East Belfast, admitted his murder in Belfast Crown Court on Monday.
He had previously denied the charges, but pleaded guilty to the murder as his trial was due to begin. His attorney said the defendant would seek a psychiatric report. East Belfast victim’s name released.
The judge said it had been a “heartbreaking” experience for Ms Morrow’s family, which had been “prolonged by the delay in which the defendant faced the inevitable consequences of his actions.”
He expressed the court’s condolences to the family, adding that he hoped the guilty plea would mark “the beginning of the closing of this tragic case.”
Judge Miller told the deceased’s loved one that Hutchinson would be sentenced in September, saying: “The court offers its condolences to the family of the deceased, and at least today marks the beginning of the end of this tragic case. I want it. ”

After Hutchinson pleaded guilty to murder, Judge Miller said: “He has only been handed down one sentence in this court, which is life imprisonment.
“Customs duties, the period for which you must be detained before parole is considered, after which you will continue to be subject to the terms of the license for the remainder of your natural life, will be determined on September 24.
